Calvin

Meet Calvin! This sweet 2-year-old boy weighs 22 pounds and is working on gaining a few more pounds after being sadly malnourished in his previous home. Despite his difficult start, Calvin is a happy, affectionate boy who has done wonderfully. He gets along well with people, cats, and dogs of all sizes, is housebroken when kept on a consistent schedule, sleeps quietly through the night, and walks beautifully on leash. Calvin is looking for a patient, dog-savvy family who understands that after everything he has been through, he can sometimes become nervous or uncomfortable with certain types of handling. Because of this, we are looking for a home with children 15 years of age or older. He may bark when initially left alone, so an apartment setting would not be the best fit. Calvin has so much love to give and is ready for a stable, understanding home where he can finally put his past behind him and write his happily-ever-after chapter.
